WITH
the highly anticipated
U.S. Supreme Court decision in
June on the Patient Protection and A ordable Health Care Act
(PPAHCA), many key components were upheld. Coverage for
pre-existing conditions, ending of lifetime limits and children
being covered by parents’ insurance until 26 years of age—all
these remain law.
While some questions have been answered, we still have
much to work through.
I have the honor of serving as chair of the newly formed
Select Committee on Medicaid Managed Care for the Idaho
Hospital Association. We will address issues and make recom-
mendations to our Idaho lawmakers and the rest of the healthcare sector in Idaho to
continue to improve the care you expect and deserve.
New physician.
I’m pleased to welcome Nigel Campbell, MD, to Moscow Pullman
OB/GYN. Dr. Campbell was born in England and grew up in Pullman. He received his
medical degree from the University of Washington and did his OB/GYN residency at
the University of Rochester in NewYork. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Camp-
bell, please call

Rural clinic update.
Group Health insurance is now accepted at rural clinics. A
reminder that Group Health has expanded its network to Kendrick Family Care and
Potlatch Family Care. Group Health insurance has been accepted
at the hospital for several years, so we are glad that they have
agreed to extend their network to our clinics in Kendrick and
Potlatch.

ebrate the Troy Clinic reopening with an open house on July 14.
