Over the years,
Gritman Medical Center has made sig-
nificant investments to improve health and wellness in our
communities—not only in facilities and medical technologies,
but also in people. Whether it’s helping establish theWWAMI Ru-
ral Medicine Scholarship to meet the future health needs of our
rural communities or partnering with other healthcare organiza-
tions to bring specialized care to the area, we remain committed
to addressing the health needs in our communities.
Improving care through better technology.
We are proud to
be the first in the region to offer three-dimensional mammogra-
phy. This revolutionary technology significantly improves your
doctor’s ability to detect breast cancer earlier and with greater
confidence. It finds 40 percent more invasive cancers than conventional mammography.
In the coming months, we will soon offer the latest in computed tomography (CT)
scanning. This new technology provides more detailed images while significantly reduc-
ing the amount of radiation patients are exposed to. In addition, we will continue to look
for and explore opportunities to bring new services into our community in order for
people to get the care they need right here on the Palouse.
Care in the countryside.
We are proud to continue to build on our legacy of improv-
ing the health of people in our communities with our Potlatch, Kendrick and Troy clinics.
Gritman Medical Center was thrilled to begin construction at the new Potlatch location,
which will allow us to expand service and accessibility for patients in the Potlatch area.
Thank you for your trust in Gritman Medical Center. With our strong foundation,
together as a community, we are poised to embrace an exciting new future.
